What’s on in October: 2025 edition

Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival 2025

Hong Kong’s favourite culinary celebration returns this month with the theme REMIX. BEST OF ALL WORLDS. Visitors can explore highlights like the BEA Grand Wine Pavilion, featuring over 100 top-rated Old and New World wines curated by critic James Suckling, including his handpicked Chinese selections and beyond.

At the Tasting Room, five acclaimed chefs — including Beijing’s three-Michelin-star Chiu Chow master Cheung Yat-fung and Culinary Class Wars’ “Queen of Dim Sum” Ji-sun Jung — join forces for an extraordinary ten-hands dinner. Over at Towngas Gourmet Avenue, guests can savour signature dishes from some of Hong Kong’s most celebrated restaurants, including Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, and Arbor.

Explore interactive pairing experiences, rare wines and gourmet creations throughout the festival. Standard admission starts at just HK$40 at the door, while Tasting Passes begin at HK$298 and Grand Wine Tasting Passes from HK$498, available via Klook, Trip.com.

The Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show 2025 

The LYC Boat Show – Festa Nautica 2025 returns to Lantau Yacht Club in Discovery Bay later this month. Explore luxury yachts, cutting-edge marine tech, immersive family experiences, gourmet offerings, and lifestyle showcases. Highlights include superyachts, sea trials, artisan cuisine, and interactive activities, celebrating Hong Kong’s premier yachting culture. Admission is free with pre-registration required.

Hong Kong Ballet’s Romeo + Juliet 

Hong Kong Ballet’s Romeo + Juliet returns home after a triumphant Seoul debut. Set in 1960s Hong Kong, Septime Webre’s award-winning production reimagines Shakespeare’s classic with neon-lit streets, cheongsams and kung fu–inspired choreography, performed live with Prokofiev’s sweeping score by the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. Join Hong Kong’s biggest padel tournament

AIA Vitality Park at Central Harbourfront hosts Hong Kong’s first large-scale padel and lifestyle hub. Blending tennis and squash for a fast-paced, social experience loved by stars like David Beckham and Rafael Nadal, the event offers matches, casual play, food, and entertainment against Victoria Harbour. Ephememo-ries: Till Next Time

Step into the past — and the future — at MONDRIAN Hong Kong’s The Corner Shop. As part of the 10th Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture (UABB) – Shenzhen, this interactive exhibition transforms a nostalgic telephone booth into a digital time capsule where visitors can record personal memories of Tsim Sha Tsui. Each story becomes part of an evolving art project, reimagined through AI and showcased in Shenzhen before returning to Hong Kong in 2026.

Vogue Singapore presents Next in Vogue 2025
