The best brunches in Hong Kong right now

Whether you’re craving a Mediterranean feast by the sea, indulgent dim sum, or a Champagne-soaked Italian spread, Hong Kong’s brunch scene is served in style. From city views to seaside escapes, here’s where to find the most indulgent weekend brunches right now—because one course is never enough.

Pranzo Italiano Brunch

There’s no shortage of indulgent brunches in Hong Kong, but Lucciola’s Pranzo Italiano stands out for its polished execution and quiet confidence. Tucked within the elegant confines of The Hari Hong Kong, the restaurant pairs bold design—think amber and forest green hues bathed in natural light—with a menu that is as assured as it is generous.

Brunch begins with a seafood platter featuring Alaskan king crab and freshly shucked oysters. Antipasti are shared at the table and thoughtfully composed—delicate veal tonnato and roasted scallops served with Jerusalem artichoke and smoked herring caviar are particular highlights.

The mains show the kitchen’s commitment to traditional flavours done well. A hand-made pasta, rich risotto made with aged Carnaroli rice, or a perfectly cooked U.S. ribeye steak offer satisfying variety without feeling excessive.

Dessert is a procession—literally—via a charming trolley laden with Italian favourites: tiramisu, Fior di Latte gelato, pistachio cannoli and more. It’s a nostalgic nod to old-world hospitality, delivered with flair.

When: Weekends and public holidays from 12 to 2.30pm

How much? Prices start at $488 for two courses, with a two-hour free-flow option (including Champagne and cocktails) available for an additional $368
