From museum late nights and international literary voices to large-scale outdoor festivals and pop culture gatherings, here’s what to add to the diary this month.
Art in Resonance
During Hong Kong Arts Month, The Peninsula Hong Kong reinforces its long-standing role as a cultural patron with the 2026 edition of Art in Resonance, presented in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum. Site-specific works by Angel Hui, Albert Yonathan Setyawan and Dr William Lim unfold throughout the hotel’s public spaces, inviting visitors to encounter contemporary art within one of the city’s most iconic heritage settings. Embracing Feminine Energy: Meditation & Tea Ceremony
Mark International Women’s Day with Embracing Feminine Energy: Meditation & Tea Ceremony at YUN WELLNESS, Island Shangri-La. Hong Kong International Literary Festival
Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Hong Kong International Literary Festival returns with a citywide programme designed for readers seeking more than traditional author talks. Running from 1 to 8 March, the festival welcomes major international voices including Pulitzer Prize winner Hernán Diaz, Amitav Ghosh and Chinese writer Hu Anyan, alongside discussions exploring culture, identity and the digital age.
Literary lunches, walks and workshops take place across the city, complemented by the dedicated Young Readers Festival from 2 to 13 March, making this one of the month’s most accessible cultural programmes for adults, families and students alike.

After Dark at M+
M+ extends gallery hours this month with an evening programme combining live music, stand-up comedy and hands-on printmaking inspired by Zao Wou-Ki: Master Printmaker. Beach Yoga Session at Repulse Bay
Mark International Women’s Day with a relaxed morning yoga session overlooking Repulse Bay Beach. Hosted by Excuse My French in collaboration with Angellee Yoga and Limewood, the event pairs guided movement with a beachside brunch, with mats provided and a same-day shopping voucher included.

WestK FunFest
Returning this spring, WestK FunFest brings more than 120 family-friendly performances, installations and workshops to the West Kowloon Cultural District. With many free programmes and weekend markets running throughout the festival period, it remains one of the easiest cultural outings for families this season.

HKWALLS returns for art month
HKWALLS Street Art Festival 2026 is back, turning Central and the Western District into an open-air gallery. Expect large-scale murals created live on the streets, alongside digital installations across Victoria Harbour and a new “Art on the Move” concept, with artworks appearing on roaming trucks across the city.
There is plenty to dip into, from guided walking tours to hands-on workshops at PMQ, making it an easy one to explore over a weekend. More information here.

Art & Community Exhibition at EAST Hong Kong
As part of Hong Kong’s Art Month, EAST Hong Kong is partnering with social enterprise r é n to present r é n @ EAST | Art & Community, a month-long exhibition spotlighting emerging artists from Hong Kong and London. Running from March 23 to April 30, the hotel lobby will transform into a gallery showcasing works exploring creativity, resilience and community.
Visitors can explore the exhibition freely throughout the month, with additional highlights including a panel discussion on accessibility in the creative industries at Sugar rooftop bar on March 23, creative workshops, and a small pop-up at Domain café featuring exhibition merchandise. ComplexCon Hong Kong 2026

Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt & Carnival
Looking ahead to the Easter holidays, the much-loved Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt & Carnival returns to Tai Pak Beach from 3 to 4 April. Children aged three to ten can search for colourful eggs redeemable for prizes, alongside inflatable play zones, creative workshops and family entertainment throughout the day.
