As the year winds down and school wraps up, families across Hong Kong start looking for ways to keep little ones inspired, engaged and happily exhausted over the Christmas break. Whether your child dreams of taking centre stage, diving into nature, coding a robot, writing a story, or simply trying something new with friends, this year’s winter camps offer more choice than ever.
Below, we’ve rounded up the very best winter camps for 2025 — thoughtfully curated to help you find the perfect holiday plan for every age, interest and energy level.

KYD Theatre’s Paper Bag Princess Winter Camp
KYD Theatre’s Paper Bag Princess Winter Camp transforms the much-loved Robert Munsch story into an eight-day creative experience for children aged 5–12. Young performers rehearse and stage a full production of The Paper Bag Princess inside the Fringe Club’s professional Studio Theatre, complete with real lights, a real stage and a live audience on closing night.
Each three-hour session blends acting, voice, movement, scriptwriting and design, led by professional teaching artists who keep the atmosphere energetic, inclusive and kind. Beginners feel instantly welcome, while more experienced performers are gently pushed further. Costumes are kept by the children, family tickets are free, and every participant has their moment to shine on Day 8.
The entire camp takes place at the iconic Fringe Club in Central. Small group sizes, sensory-friendly options and multilingual support make it particularly well suited to local and EAL children.
