Designed by founders Elaine and Luca Girardi, the Children’s Residency features three rooms filled with Bimbo Casa furniture and sustainable wooden toys. The Jungle Safari room has jungle-themed toys, a tent, a foosball table, and a cosy reading corner. The Ocean Blue room is perfect for movie nights and features a variety of musical instruments. In contrast, in soft pastel pink tones, the Garden of Flowers room is great for tea parties and includes a miniature village shop, ice cream stand, kitchen, and ball pit.
The Children’s Residency offers private event services, such as birthday parties and family celebrations, starting at $2,500 per hour with a minimum booking of three hours. Additionally, the team can manage all party planning details, including invitations, cake, photographers, magicians, face painting, nail bar, and party food from Salisterra. They can also arrange a gift list and sustainable party favours through Bimbo Concept stores.

Initially established as an online cake shop, Butter started by offering a variety of popular whole cakes from Black Sheep Restaurants, including Motorino’s New York Cheesecake and La Vache! ‘s Lemon Meringue Tart. In 2019, Chef Karys Plaxe joined the team, bringing her expertise in international bakeries and Michelin-starred pastry programs. Chef Karys incorporated classic American baking techniques into Butter’s offerings, introducing nostalgic Americana pies and cakes like her mother’s Apple Pie and the beloved Pineapple Upside-down Cake.
