Where to eat and drink in Hong Kong: February 2026

February brings plenty happening across Hong Kong’s restaurants and bars, from limited chef collaborations and dining series to seasonal menus and sociable nights worth booking ahead. Here are a few to have on your radar

Black Series Returns

Black Sheep’s much-loved Black Sheep Restaurants Black Series returns from 30 January to 8 February, offering one of the smartest excuses of the year to dine out well for less. Across the group’s portfolio, signature menus are served at sharply reduced prices, from MICHELIN-starred heavyweights such as BELON and New Punjab Club to newcomers including Salon des Refusés. Expect everything from lobster tagliatelle and entrecôte-frites to Alpine fondue, British roasts and playful, one-off experiences like pizza-making parties and boisterous bistro nights at Jean-Pierre. With loyalty rewards layered in and complimentary welcome drinks for American Express Platinum and Centurion cardholders, this is Black Series at its most confident, generous and tempting yet.

A February collaboration worth booking

A brief but intriguing culinary exchange lands at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Hong Kong this February, as Executive Chef Julien Tongourian welcomes Gil Fernandes of Fortaleza do Guincho for a three-day lunch residency from 11 to 13 February. The collaboration brings together Portuguese Atlantic flavours and French fine-dining precision across two lunchtime menus, priced from HK$1,280 for four courses and HK$1,680 for five. Fernandes’ signature scarlet prawn dish, inspired by the historic dialogue between Portuguese and Goan cuisines, anchors the experience.

British beef takes centre stage at Magistracy Dining Room

Black Sheep’s Magistracy Dining Room by Chef Alyn Williams turns to one of Britain’s most defining ingredients with its British Beef Supper, a three-course evening menu served on Mondays and Tuesdays within the stately surrounds of the former Central Magistracy. The experience celebrates the depth and character of grass-raised British beef, moving from opening plates of sourdough with Marmite butter and Stilton gougères to a refined procession of clear beef consommé and slow-cooked Cumbrian Galloway striploin with tarragon dumplings and confit potatoes. A lemon posset provides a bright, composed finale, while English sparkling wines and Bordeaux reds underscore the menu’s traditional spirit. The menu is priced at HK$748 per guest and available until 31 March. Reserve a table here

Head to Jean-Pierre for This French Classic, Served Once a Night

Gather a few friends who enjoy lingering over dinner and head to Jean-Pierre, where February brings a rare excuse to do exactly that. The restaurant is serving Pot-au-Feu à la Royale just once each evening, by pre-order only, turning a classic French winter dish into a small but deliberate occasion. Slow-braised beef, marrow-rich broth and the expected accompaniments arrive designed for sharing. At HK$2,088 for four to six, it is best served with good wine and great friends. Roast lovers, this one’s for you

A firm weekend favourite, Lobster Bar & Grill returns with its 2026 Sunday Roast Guest Chef Series, welcoming some of Hong Kong’s most compelling culinary talents into the kitchen from February to April. Each one-day-only collaboration sees Executive Chef Cary Docherty reinterpret the classic British roast through a different lens, with upcoming takeovers from two-MICHELIN-starred NOI, lively Spanish favourite 22 Ships, and refined Ningbo specialist Yong Fu Hong Kong. Expect polished starters, beautifully judged roasts and indulgent desserts, all served in the restaurant’s relaxed, old-school brasserie setting. At HK$898 per guest, it is a delicious way to explore the city’s dining scene through one of its most comforting rituals. See here for the full line up and to book a table.
