Hosting in style: Causeway Bay’s most elegant venue for celebrations has arrived

From sunlit luncheons to candlelit receptions, Salon Lanson offers a sophisticated backdrop for every occasion

Following a meticulous 16-month renovation, Lanson Place Causeway Bay reopened its doors in March 2024, unveiling a stunning transformation that cements its place as Hong Kong’s first member of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). The renewed space has quickly become one of the city’s most sought-after venues for intimate celebrations, elegant weddings, cocktail parties and private events—thanks to its refined interiors and thoughtful layout.

At the heart of this transformation is Salon Lanson, a beautifully curated first-floor venue that captures the spirit of a modern French salon. Designed by renowned French interior architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, the space blends Parisian elegance with the familiar comforts of home—offering a setting that feels both elevated and welcoming.

As you ascend into the salon, a glass partition reveals a sequence of inviting living areas, where custom furnishings in soft ivory, pastel blue and light oak evoke a mid-century sensibility. Versailles parquet floors and original artwork lend the space a distinctly residential feel—perfect for hosting guests in style.

Tucked beside a dramatic seating alcove lies the Winter Garden, a serene retreat filled with Mediterranean touches, including fragrant orange trees. Opposite, a sculptural bar clad in ivory and gold mosaic anchors the space beneath gilded bird motifs on the ceiling, reinforcing the room’s bespoke charm. For private dinners, the Murano Room—swathed in deep green velvet and lit by a floral crystal chandelier—offers an opulent setting for more intimate gatherings.

Whether bathed in sunlight by day or glowing softly by night, Salon Lanson offers a warm, sophisticated backdrop for milestone moments. The 2,147-square-foot venue can host up to 120 guests for cocktail receptions or 60 for seated banquets.

Event packages begin at HKD1,080 per person for dinner, while cocktail parties start at HKD650 per person, including three hours of free-flow beverages and canapés. Bespoke menus can be crafted on request, with a minimum spend of HKD99,000 plus 10% service charge. Valid until 31 December 2025, subject to availability.
