Soho Beach Club Brings Rooftop Revelry to Repulse Bay

Soho House Hong Kong transforms The Pulse Rooftop Garden in Repulse Bay into a sun-soaked seaside playground from 22–24 August. Expect three days of live music, wellness sessions, beachside games, and curated culinary treats. Friday kicks off with Sunken Crew spinning sunset grooves, Saturday blends chilled Aperol spritzes, fresh salads and BBQ bites with DJ sets from 0159, and Sunday winds down with a classic Sunday roast paired with the Social Club Series soundtrack. All are welcome. Tickets start from $194.40

The Opposites: Umami in the Glass

Fresh from its debut on Asia’s 50 Best Bars at No. 80, The Opposites is keeping the momentum alive this month with a spirited collaboration with Lee Kum Kee. The Central bar, led by Antonio Lai and Samuel Kwok, has crafted two limited-edition cocktails that put the iconic condiment brand centre stage. Lai’s Summer Soystice brings a savoury twist to watermelon and tequila with house-made soy syrup, while Kwok’s La Bonita infuses plum sauce into a bittersweet mix of vermouth, Campari and tequila. Available until 31 August, the playful serves celebrate Hong Kong’s flair for reimagining tradition in bold, modern ways. Both limited-edition cocktails are priced at $150 a glass.

Sip, Savour, Shibumi: The Aubrey’s New Cocktail Menu

The Aubrey at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, has shaken up its cocktail game with The Art of Shibumi, a menu that celebrates elegance, experimentation, and a little quiet mischief. Crafted by Stefano Bussi, Hong Kong and Macau’s 2024 Diageo World Class Bartender of the Year, the drinks are divided into four playful sections—Elegant, Refined, Imperfect, and Balanced—each inviting you to explore unexpected flavours, from floral shochu martinis to umami-rich twists with leftover wagyu oil. With clever techniques, upcycled ingredients, and a trio of inventive highballs, Bussi turns every sip into a small, joyous revelation.

Oyster Tuesday at The Hari Hong Kong

The Hari Hong Kong’s Zoku launches Oyster Tuesday, a weekly feast celebrating fresh, sustainably sourced oysters with warm sake, whisky, bubbles, and more. Free-flow oysters, golden fried oyster makimono, and “kake udon” noodles with smoked herring caviar feature alongside kushiyaki skewers and hojicha crème brûlée. Drinks packages include highballs, signature cocktails, mocktails, and Champagne pairings. From $988 for two, diners can enjoy this indulgent, eco-conscious evening in Zoku’s intimate, origami-inspired setting.

Miffy Turns 70 at The Peninsula Boutique & Café

Celebrate Miffy’s 70th birthday in style at The Peninsula Boutique & Café. The iconic bunny gets a playful twist across limited-edition merchandise—from plush toys in pastel hues to Pen Bear & Miffy keyholder sets—and café treats that are (almost) too cute to eat. Highlights include the Mango Parfait layered with coconut and pomelo ($148), a chocolate-topped Cheese Cake ($98), and a classic Tiramisu with a Miffy motif ($98). The Mango Soft Serve Cone ($48) is perfect for strolling around Tsim Sha Tsui with a little Miffy magic.
