Think plush velvet armchairs, bespoke furnishings, curated artwork and a neutral palette that strikes the perfect balance between calm and sophistication. The bathrooms, though compact, feature elegant touches, including rainfall showers and luxurious La Bottega amenities. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a charming welcome: a cocktail kit \u2014 complete with a beautifully crafted rose martini and delicate garnish from the team at Zoku,\u2014 alongside a playful Madeleine dipping set with rich chocolate sauce and sprinkles for our daughter. And the views? Simply stunning, with sweeping vistas of Victoria Harbour providing an ever-changing, serene backdrop. Sustainability is woven into every aspect of the guest experience. The hotel has eliminated single-use plastics from the get-go, offering refillable amenities and sustainable bamboo dental kits. Their partnership with NORDAQ<\/em> has already helped eliminate over 200,000 plastic bottles in 2024 alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One highlight that truly stood out? Breakfast. Served in Lucciola, the chic Italian restaurant on the second floor, this is a beautifully intimate semi-buffet set up. Begin your morning with freshly baked pastries, seasonal fruit, freshly made smoothies and juices, and an assortment of cold cuts, followed by standout made-to-order dishes including Smoked Scottish salmon, avocado toast and the fluffiest pancakes. Pair dishes with endless barista-made coffees, a chilled glass of Prosecco, or a perfectly spiced Bloody Caesar. It\u2019s undoubtedly one of the best hotel breakfasts we\u2019ve had in recent memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But The Hari\u2019s culinary offerings don\u2019t stop there. At Lucciola, hearty Italian classics like saffron risotto and veal Milanese are served in generous portions for lunch and dinner. On weekends, the Pranzo Italiano brunch is among Hong Kong\u2019s best, starting with a seafood platter and antipasti such as Il Vitello Tonnato and Roasted Scallop with Jerusalem Artichoke. Mains include 7-Year Aged Carnaroli Risotto, Prime U.S. Ribeye or Mediterranean Sea Bream, followed by a dessert trolley brimming with treats\u2014think tiramisu, Fior di Latte gelato and cannoli\u2014paired with free-flow Champagne and Italian cocktails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upstairs at Zoku, things take a modern Japanese turn. Known for its slick design and buzzy vibe, Zoku offers everything from makimonos to kushiyaki and cocktails. Highlights include miso-marinated black cod and seared tuna with avocado. When the sun\u2019s out, head to the terrace for \u2018tipple hour\u2019\u2014ideal for brunch or sundowners. And don\u2019t leave without trying The Hari Gin: a spiced twist on a London Dry that honours the Harilela family\u2019s Indian heritage. It even took silver at the World Gin Awards 2022<\/em>. Sustainability is also central here, with food waste processed into eco-liquid via ORCA tech\u2014making indulgence feel that little bit better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During our stay, we found an especially sophisticated arty crowd, likely due to having Art Basel in town at the time, they were well catered for among the hotel\u2019s distinctive art collection hanging on the walls. The vibe is social without being showy, making it ideal for both low-key evenings and casual meet-ups over negronis in the lounge, where guests and locals sip coffee in a space that effortlessly blends comfort and style. The Hari\u2019s connection to the art world is further demonstrated through initiatives like The Hari Art Prize and The Hari Chronicles, offering guests a unique gateway into Hong Kong\u2019s emerging art scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests will also enjoy a luxurious room or suite and breakfast for two.
