Dang Wen Li by Dominique Ansel
Famous for their confections based on iconic Hong Kong items, Dang Weng Li by Dominique Ansel’s shop is a wonderland for dessert lovers. Don’t overlook the more simple pastries though, you can trust that they have nailed the flakey texture a perfect croissant needs. So much so that they have even incorporated the interior cross section of a croissant onto the roof of their shop. When you next go in to buy one of their dreamy delicacies, don’t forget to look up.

CR² by Cupping Room

Cupping Room’s newest location Mong Kok has an emphasis on pastries and baked goods. It’s new insta-famous ice cream croissant ($42) has caused quite the buzz over the past few months. While it is more in the dessert category than a full-on croissant, we think it still makes the cut.
